ACUPUNCTURE

In Chinese Medicine, the functions of the body are accessed through acupuncture points which run along the meridians of the body - a myriad of circulations that enable qi to distribute across the system. Because of the length and multiple functions of these meridians, don't be surprised if your acupuncturist chooses to needle a different region of your body than the one you may have identified in your consultation!
Due to its non-invasive approach, acupuncture can be used to treat patients of all ages, from 4 week olds to 94 year olds.
People seek acupuncture for a variety of reasons:
Anxiety
Issues with sleep
Digestive problems
Pain
Infertility
Menstrual disturbances
Fatigue
Stress
Apart from the initial insertion, my patients generally only feel the therapeutic effect of the needle, which can be experienced as a dull ache, a release, or a deep sense of calm.
